The association Avenir Radieux, based in Pesmes in Haute-Saône, works to renovate old centers and more generally to improve architectural and environmental quality in rural areas. Association law 1901 created in 2015 by Bernard Quirot at the initiative of a group of architects and people working in the field of heritage and housing, its goal is “to initiate, develop, pilot and evaluate all technical, urban planning and architectural interventions, designed to highlight and recapture the immovable heritage of the city of Pesmes and surrounding communities. »
Responding to the need to restore attraction and life to city centers through the reoccupation of many apartments or houses that are currently abandoned, such is the goal of Avenir Radieux. The association produces studies for public partners and individuals, both in the field of development of public spaces and in that of architectural projects – whether restructuring or new construction – to guarantee the quality and unity of these actions and also the protection of premises. legacy
To carry out its activity, Avenir Radieux calls for the mobilization of partners and financial public and private, sets up the appropriate organization and logistics, uses the necessary human and material resources, and implements measures that it considers to be in line with the challenges: consultations. , conferences, publications and audio-visual documents, training courses, seminars. “We want all these actions to be an opportunity to hold a debate that contributes to building knowledge specific to architecture. That’s why every year we organize a design seminar open to students and young architects. This seminar is an opportunity to reflect on the development of our territory; it is accompanied by a cycle of conferences and courses given by lecturers with whom we feel in a “community of thought”. »
In 2023, for its 8e edition, the association hosted conferences Hervé and Laurent Beaudoin, Raphaël Gabrion, Jean-Patrick Fortin, Sapiens, and Hart and Berteloot. The seminar was supervised Bernard Quirot, Emilien Robin and Stefano Moor. Exhibitions, screenings and other events are also planned during these two weeks.
