He thus announced the signing of an agreement in collaboration with Vasilakis SA, a large company based in Heraklion, the Cretan capital. After starting in the retail business of wood and building materials, Antonios Vasilakis is now opening up to the tourism sector, with the opening of a hotel in Heraklion and therefore, this first JW Marriott in Greece.
Marriott International will also be calling SWOT Hospitality as a third party operator of the franchised property. Founded in 2013 in Athens, SWOT Hospitality has become a recognized hotel management company.
