Scary Jug launched in 2019 Green Hell, a survival game in the Amazon jungle which quickly won over PC gamers. Since then, the title has been ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, it even had a virtual reality version with Green Hell VR on a computer, Meta Search And PSVR 2.
The title is discreet, but that does not prevent it from experiencing real commercial success. Cheepy Jar announces that Green Hell has sold over six million copies “on PC, PlayStation and Xbox”. Yep, that’s not even considering sales on Switch if copies of Green Hell VR has passed, suffice it to say that the success is huge.
As a reminder, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ports have been in the pipeline for several yearsthey should land sometime in 2024, but this will mark the end of updates for the PS4 and Xbox One versions… If you don’t know the game, Green Hell is available for €18.98 more Game planet.
