Fifteen years after its creation, it is definitely time to come out of the woods for Technique Solaire, this SME implementing photovoltaic projects based in Biard in Vienne. It announced on April 29 that it had contracted debt totaling 224 million euros from Bpifrance and Caisse d’Epargne Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur. A new step that feeds a global roadmap of 4 billion euros, to go from 250 MW to 4 GW of installed power by 2030 in France, or 8% of national goals.
After fundraising of 200 million euros completed in December, the developer will use this new financial contribution to realize 300 photovoltaic installations. Infrastructure for a total power of 160 MW which will be added to the 500 MW already connected and the 350 MW under development. Technique Solaire therefore focuses on the multiplication of parks rather than very large-scale structures. The company chose a strategy focused on the downstream part, by developing expertise in the installation and maintenance professions.
The developer is currently present in France, India and the Netherlands, and wants to invest in Spain. Beyond ground-based photovoltaics, it also deploys shade structures over parking lots and agrivoltaics, floating panels and even methane digesters to produce biogas. Diversification in the image of renewable energy economy now propelled at full speed.
